The President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezwanted to end the revolving door system ten years ago, when he was still leader of the opposition: “We have to close them.” An opinion that contrasts with his current decisions, such as the appointment as governor of the Bank of Spain of the Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, Jose Luis Escriváeven though the list of appointments is much longer. And it continues to grow.
The State Attorney General’s Office was one of the first places where the President of the Government placed a trusted person. It was in 2020 that he appointed his former Minister of Justice Dolores Delgado to the most important position in the prosecutor’s career. In this position, his right hand would succeed him, Alvaro Garcia Ortiz.
One of the latest additions to this list was Cascajosa Design as the new provisional president of RTVE, after having recognized herself as a PSOE activist before the Congress.
