The Polish Army has relocated its aircraft due to the activity of the Russian Armed Forces’ long-range aviation in Western Ukraine. This was reported by the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces in X.
“This is another very busy night for the entire Polish air defence system due to the observed activity of Russian long-range aviation… in the western territory of Ukraine,” – says the message.
The military warned that southeastern Poland could experience “increases in noise levels associated with the commencement of Polish and Allied aviation operations.”
On the night of September 4, explosions were heard in kyiv, Sumy, Lvov and Krivoy Rog. Air defence forces worked on the outskirts of the capital and in the Kiev region. In addition, at around 5 a.m. an air raid alert was announced in all regions of Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry stresses that the strikes are carried out only against Ukrainian military and energy facilities and related infrastructure.
