After living in Jeju for 11 years, singers Lee Hyori (45) and Lee Sang-soon (50), a couple, are building a new home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu.
According to Edaily on the 25th, Lee Hyo-ri and her husband purchased a single-family house and an adjacent lot in Pyeongchang-dong in August last year for 6.05 billion won, all in cash.
This house, which consists of one underground floor and two floors above ground, is known to have a total area of 330 m2 (about 100 pyeong). Before moving in in September, the house is said to be under construction with security fences erected all around.
Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul is a place called traditional rich village. There are few amenities and no subway station, so transportation is inconvenient, but it is quiet and comfortable, so political and business figures and various celebrities who want to relax live here.
In particular, Pyeongchang-dong is located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, making it a great neighborhood to take a stroll around. Actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra, Yoo Hae-jin and Kim Hye-soo, and singers Seo Tai-ji and Yoon Jong-shin are known to currently live in Pyeongchang-dong.
