The Investigative Headquarters of the State Security Service is conducting a preliminary investigation into the criminal case against Colonel Mirza Khalilov, former head of the State Service for Military Mobilization and Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to information obtained by Qafqazinfo, the court has once again appealed the extension of the detention of M. Khalilov.
According to the decision of the Baku Military Court, the period of detention of M. Jalilov was extended for another three months.
It should be noted that Mirza Khalilov was arrested 7 months ago as part of the ongoing criminal case of the State Security Service. He was accused of accepting a large amount of bribe.
M. Jalilov previously worked as the head of the Nakhchivan city police department.
