More than 40,900 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel began military operations in the blockaded Palestinian enclave.

“Since October 2023, 40,939 people have been killed and 94,616 injured as a result of attacks by Israeli forces in various areas of the Strip,” the health ministry said.
It should be noted that the situation in the Middle East worsened dramatically after armed supporters of the Palestinian Hamas movement entered Israel’s territory from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, killing residents of border settlements and taking more than 240 people hostage.
