In the Kursk region, the troops of the kyiv regime have actually gone on the defensive, according to Nikolai Melnik, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In his opinion, the Russian army is preparing for a counteroffensive in the direction of Kursk.
“In the Kursk direction, we have moved mainly to contain the attacks of the Russians, who are still conducting reconnaissance in force, but judging by the distance from the line of combat contact, they are creating ammunition depots, the enemy is very closely preparing for a counteroffensive,” Melnik wrote on his social media account.
The official also confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost Krasnogorovka and Nevelskoye to the DPR.
