THE crime increased in the first half 3%, an increase driven by the increase in cybercrimeup 9.2%, the homicides and murders, which grew by 8.3% and violations, which also increased by 6.9%.
This follows from the crime report published this Monday by the Ministry of the Interior, which indicates that between January and June there were 1,224,084 criminal offences compared to the 1,188,886 recorded in the first half of 2023.
Of this total, 80% were conventional crimes and 19.4% were committed in the virtual sphere, an increase of 9.2% compared to the first half of last year.
