The Azerbaijani national team, which took first place in the team standings at the European Youth Judo Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, has returned home.
Oku.Az The athletes were greeted with applause by members of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the sports community, family members and relatives at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Our team finished the championship with four gold medals, two silver and two bronze.
Vusal Qalandarzade (73 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg) won gold, Nizami Imranov (60 kg) and Aslan Kotsoev (90 kg) won silver, Tuncay Shamil (90 kg) kg) and Kanan Nasibov (+100 kg) won bronze medals.
