Yesterday, at a meeting with representatives of various nationalities living in the republic, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko blamed the Armenian state and Pashinyan in general for the events that took place around Karabakh and led to the war.

“Alexander Lukashenko is expressing the same opinion for the second time. Now Lukashenko says that no one in Europe is waiting for Armenia and Ukraine. It is true that talks were held with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan on the Karabakh issue and solutions were proposed. These issues are already history and we have witnessed them, but Lukashenko’s latest speech raises the question: why does the head of state of Belarus repeat this issue from time to time?
In my opinion, the main goal here is to attack Armenia. In his speech he expressed this by saying that official Yerevan is guilty of the war, that no one expects Ukraine and Armenia to become part of the European Union, that Pashinyan did not accept the proposals and chose to fight. At the same time, Lukashenko claimed that Pashinyan’s government is targeting Putin, wants to integrate into the West and is not against the Armenian people. These are issues that we all know.
