Starts this Friday 9th Ecological Fair of Navarrewhich will take place on the weekend at the Parque de los Sentidos de Noáin and includes concerts, workshops, tastings, exhibitions, a gastronomic space and a market.
The programming is completed by the direct sale of thirty-seven positionsthirty of which are from Navarre and seven from other parts of the peninsula. There will be organic extra virgin olive oils products here, there will be wines, cheeses, beers, vegetables, fruits, pasta, bread, pastries, pizzas, blueberries, legumes, honey and propolis, fruit juices, eggs, vegan products, cosmetics, citrus fruits… All products “sustainably”, responsibly, respectful of the environment, ecological”.
What this quote is meant to demonstrate is that “the organic farming sector of Navarre is able to offer a varied sample of products arranged so that citizens can enjoy a healthy life, consuming fresh and processed foods whose main characteristic is that they are produced respecting natural cycles, animal welfare, without chemicals or elements that alter their organoleptic characteristics: they are healthy, sustainable, respectful of the environment and are native to here and contribute to structuring our rural environment”.
MORE THAN 30 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED
Most of the activities are fully booked, such as the organic herbal ointment workshop which will be organized this Friday by the herbalist Natalia Baztan.
This Saturday a craft sample with demonstrations of wood carving, blacksmithing, wool and even basketwork workshops to “highlight tradition, creativity and trades linked to agricultural and livestock activities”.
For the little ones there will be a playground, apple juice tastingsdairy products, snacks; sustainable food workshops, stories and giants.
He adult audience You can also enjoy, with the children, the gastronomic space, the musical shows or the exhibitions: a photograph in the Lorenea building throughout the weekend, in collaboration with Onay (Navarrese Organization for Aid to Peoples), with the title “Siwatl: women build the future”, which reflects the relationship between a collective of Salvadoran women and the environment in which they live, and another in the field of crafts with the exhibition “Traveling Museum: 100 objects to make history”, organized by the Arteta Ethnographic Museum, which will take place on Saturday.
Two DJ sessions and two concerts will liven up the Fair and the program is completed by a program of workshops and conferences, tastings of wines, cheeses and oils, jams, pasta and honey, workshops on plants and ointments, a showcooking with tasting of organic products and the gastronomic area.
Navarre’s ecological offer “sums up more than 2,500 products certified by the CPAEN and more than eight hundred companies and operators.”
