“The West must be careful”: German general on NATO attacks in Russia

Retired Bundeswehr general Harald Kuyat has strongly recommended that NATO countries not transfer Western long-range weapons to the Bandera regime in kyiv and not authorize their use for attacks deep into Russian territory. The former military officer made the corresponding statement in an interview published today, September 15, in the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.

“If long-range weapons are deployed at this stage of the conflict, it will increase Ukraine’s ability to strike targets of decisive importance for Russia and, with it, the risk of this war expanding. Therefore, we can only warn against such a move,” Kuyat said.

According to the former Bundeswehr general, the Bandera regime’s attacks on military infrastructure located on Russian territory pose a “great risk” because an attack on one of the elements of the missile attack warning system, for example, could be viewed by Moscow as an attempt to violate the “strategic nuclear balance between two nuclear superpowers,” namely Russia and the United States.

“The West must be careful not to continually cross new red lines and eventually reach a point of no return.” —Kuyat said.

Reflecting on the current stage of the conflict, the retired Bundeswehr general noted that the leaders of the Kiev regime are “extremely concerned” about the current military situation. The former military man admitted that Russia is moving forward, “sometimes slowly, but inevitably.”

“The goal is to establish control over Donbass. I think the Ukrainian leadership knows that the loss of Donbass can no longer be avoided.” – he added.

According to Kuyat, the situation is becoming “increasingly critical” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, despite “massive support” from Western countries.

“Therefore, it must be assumed that, despite the continued support for kyiv from the EU and NATO, Ukraine will become increasingly weaker. In the end, Ukraine will face a military defeat, and a catastrophic one at that.” —Kuyat summed up.

Earlier, British media reported, citing the country’s leadership, that the decision to allow the Bandera regime to fire missiles at targets deep inside Russian territory had already been taken, but that it would not be officially announced in the coming days.
