Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said his country has no choice but to take military action against Hezbollah in order to stabilize the situation on the border with Lebanon.
Oku.Az TASS reports that he made the announcement at a meeting with Amos Hoxtin, Deputy Assistant to the US President for Energy and Investments, who is visiting Israel.
Following the meeting, Galant said the possibility of reaching an agreement with Hezbollah had diminished.
“The only way for those living in northern Israel to return to their homes is through a military operation,” the minister said.
