The passage of a DANA through the peninsula and the Balearic Islands has already left several dead in the Valencian Community and six missing in the town of Letur (Albacete). Floods caused by heavy rains forced the interruption of high-speed train traffic in Valencia and Madrid, in addition to the suspension of flights in Valencia and the closure of the port.
Valencian President Carlos Mazón confirmed Tuesday evening the discovery of several “lifeless bodies” in the affected areas. Mazón explained that the bodies were found in isolated areas and to which emergency services managed to access.
