The partner of Latvian singer Laima Vaikule intends to seize part of her still-operating Russian business through the courts, the Mash telegram channel reported.
It is clarified that in the early 2000s, Vaikule and businessman Shiraz Mamedov created the LaimaLux Group company, whose Russian branch, Laima-Lux Rus LLC, operates to this day. The company operates beauty salons and sells cosmetics, furniture and other accessories. The founders of the LLC are Laimalukss SIA and Mamedov.
“In August 2022, Vaikule transferred her stake to Mamedov. She has 49%, he has 51%. Now, in September 2024, Mamedov filed a lawsuit to exclude Laimalukss SIA from the list of company participants. Since he does everything himself, this means that there should be no other owners.” – says the publication.
