One of the houses located in the village of Khachmaz in the Oguz region was robbed.
From the Sheki regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Oku.AzAccording to the report, the owner of the house informed the police about the theft of 2,000 manats, jewelry and household items by an unknown person.
Polad Ibrahimov, a neighbour of the victim, who was previously convicted and suspected of the crime, was arrested thanks to measures taken by the district police department.
He said he sold some of what he stole in Ganja and Gabala.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident, and the court has ordered P. Ibrahimov to be placed in pre-trial detention. Investigations are ongoing.
