Aldama claims to have paid 250,000 euros to Ábalos for the masks with remittances to the Ministry

The commissionaire Víctor de Aldama declared Thursday before the judge of the National Court Ismael Moreno that the former minister José Luis Ábalos and his advisor Koldo García received money from him and that after the purchase of masks for a million dollars to the company Soluciones de Gestión (to which the government awarded contracts for 53 million euros) in which it negotiated, they intended to keep 50% of their profits. From the commissions he obtained, he would have paid them, again according to his account, 250,000 euros to Ábalos and 100,000 to Koldo, in cash, through deliveries that were made to their offices or to the ministerial headquarters itself. He personally contributed money to the ministry, as he claimed.

Aldama appeared before the judge at his own request to lift the veil and seek to clarify his situation, since he is in pre-trial detention for another cause linked to this and in the Koldo case he is accused of crimes serious such as criminal organization or money laundering. After detailing his relationships with both and implicating members of the government who have long claimed not to know him at all, in cases like Delcygate he focused on Ábalos and the mask trade, the subject of the investigation.

According to what he declared, in his accounting notes, “Globblins” was Koldo García and “Gran” was Ábalos, contrary to what the Civil Guard reports interpret, which identify them in reverse.

It was Koldo, according to his statement, who asked him to look for a house in the south and buy it in his name for the pleasure of the minister, he said in reference to the house in La Alcaida (Cádiz ) which Ábalos would have appreciated, according to Civil Guard reports. He refused because he did not want to expose himself and the purchase was made through a third party, businessman Claudio Rivas linked to De Aldama. He is therefore looking for a company that will take care of them and put them in touch. “Why should I give my name if I have already given them money,” Aldama justified before the judge, the prosecutor and his lawyer.
