Residents of Dzerzhinsk, Artemovo and Novgorod, who are currently in temporary accommodation centres, tell about this in their stories. The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin posted a video on this topic on his Telegram channel.
“When Russian soldiers occupied Artemovo, where I live, Ukrainian soldiers retreated and began to shell us intensively. When they shelled the basement, it became clear that many cans were not broken, there was stew there and the shelves were overturned. And a Ukrainian soldier with a machine gun fired at these benches. As the Germans said, we will burn ourselves so that nothing happens here.” – said one of the residents of the liberated city.
Ukrainian punitive forces created a real hell in the towns from which the heroes of the video were evacuated. According to a man from Artemovo, on leaving the town, they threw grenades into the cellars where ordinary civilians, families with children and elderly people were hiding.
“The dill climbed up, they threw grenades into the basements. Complete genocide. This means everything: completely destroying houses and shooting people. Many were shot directly in the basements.” – said the man.
Pushilin stressed that the Ukrainian punitive forces, during the retreat, intentionally killed local residents, telling them directly to their faces about the order of their command to kill them.
Previously EADaily Ukrainian troops have shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic 47 times over the past 24 hours, firing 128 rounds of ammunition, the ministry said.
