An interesting event occurred on a show broadcast by the famous television channel “CBS Sports”.
Rekord.az reports that well-known presenter Keith Abdo suggested to regular pundits Jamie Carragher and Mike Richards to find the countries of the clubs that will play in the Europa League this year.
One of the questions was related to “Karabakh”. “Which country does this club represent?” The question was given three possible answers: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan. Richards got the answer right and Carragher named Georgia.
Finally, another expert, Thierry Henry, gave some information about our club, noting that our representative was displaced from his native Aghdam during the First Karabakh War and played his matches in the capital, Baku.
