THE National Police A young man of Argentine origin was arrested for stabbing two tourists who he believed were following his partner and a friend in the neighborhood of Saint CatherineIn Palm.
The arrest took place last Thursday and the man is accused of two attempted murders. The events date back to December 30, 2023 early in the morning when a call came in 091 warning that two tourists were seriously injured on Pascual Ribot Street in Palma.
Several National Police patrols arrived at the scene and observed two men injured by bladed weapons, so the presence of an ambulance was requested.
The victims had blunt force injuries in vital areas. They were therefore assisted on site by health services and transferred to hospital due to the severity of their injuries.
The agents verified that the attack occurred in a place near Industria Street and that the victims continued walking to locate their home until they ended up in Pascual Ribot Street where they were treated.
Two foreign tourists
At first, the victims, who were two foreign tourists, thought they had been robbed without anything being stolen thanks to the resistance they showed.
