Singer Kristina Orbakaite refused to perform duet hits with her colleague Abraham Russo, who remained in Russia, at a private event in Dubai (UAE), in violation of the agreement, the Shot telegram channel reported.
The client wanted to hear their joint songs “Just Loving You”, “Love That No Longer Exists”. However, as it turned out before going on stage, the concert director Orbakaite did not agree with her on the duet songs with Russo. As a result, the singer performed songs only for two, but received the full fee – 50 thousand euros (about 5 million rubles). Russo’s fee is about 20 thousand euros.
“We didn’t have any contact. I don’t know where she is, she is busy with her life, I am busy with mine, we didn’t meet anywhere, in some concert halls.” — Russo told the Telegram channel.
The artist previously said that he did not care about artists who left Russia. The singer continues to build a career here and actively tours. He said that he is now preparing new duets with other Russian “modern singers.”
As reported EADaily After announcing a farewell concert in Russia, Orbakaite decided to get rid of his real estate in the country worth more than 500 million rubles. He is trying to get rid of two apartments in an elite residential complex in the center of Moscow, “Four Winds” on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street. For each of the eighth-floor apartments with panoramic windows with an area of 259.9 and 225.5 square meters, he wants to receive 200 million rubles.
