A total of 28 cultural proposals make up the next season of Gaztambide Theater of Tudelawhich begins on January 4, 2025 and will continue until June 21.
The advisor of Culture of the Town Hall of Tudela and president of EPEL Tudela-Cultura, Icíar Les, presented this Tuesday at a press conference the new programming of the Gaztambide Theater, which has a total of 28 cultural proposals, 21 programmed by EPEL Tudela-Cultura and 7 organized by other entities. .
Iciar also explained to them that among those 21 Tudela-Culture shows9 are musical performances of various styles; 8 are plays intended for all types of audiences, from early childhood to adults; 3 are dance proposals and there is also a humorous monologue.
Soprano Ainhoa Arteta will open the season Saturday January 4 with his show “Christmas with Ainhoa Arteta”; Mastodonte, Asier Etxeandía’s group, will present their new show, “Beauty and Forgiveness”, on Saturday February 22; Xoel López will return to Gaztambide with his album “Caldo Espírito” on Saturday March 29; and Los Secretos will return to Tudela on Friday April 4.
For a family audience, you can enjoy ‘Queenmanía’ (Sunday March 16)a family rock show that pays homage to Queen. In Zarzuela, on Saturday March 8, it will be the turn of “Zarzuela Viajera”, a proposal featuring the Joaquín Gaztambide Choir. In addition, the Navarra Symphony Orchestra offers three concerts: “Ora et labora” on Friday February 28, “Lights and Shadows” on Friday March 21 and “Times of War” on Friday May 9.
Before these concerts, as usual, they will take place at Lestonnac Civic Center musical encounters with Tudela musicologist Mariano Jiménez.
Finally, two other musical performances organized by private companies will take place at the theater: the Puro Relajo concert on Saturday January 11 and the violinist’s performance Ara Marikian with his new show, ‘Intruso’, on Sunday January 26.
From Tudela-Cultura the following events have been organized theater shows: ‘The friends of these two’, with Malena Alterio, Saturday February 1; the Yllana company returns with “Trash”, a show combining humor and percussion on Saturday February 8; Actress Toni Acosta presents her new show, “A Cinema Mother,” on Sunday March 30.
And in the works of company theater the amateur highlights ‘Geriatraco casiperfectto’, from As de T, on Saturday April 12, and the new proposal from the IES Valle del Ebro school theater troupe, ‘Los extras’, on Sunday April 6.
In addition, Icíar indicated that for the little ones The following pieces are programmed: ‘Aqualuz’, which is aimed at early childhood, between 0 and 3 years old, and which will take place on Sunday March 23; “The cat who wanted to change history”, for the whole family, Sunday April 13. For its part, the Gray Coda company is organizing the musical ‘Abba: the new experience’ on Sunday February 9.
As for the circus, the company The circ trocola presents his REM show on Sunday February 23, and on the humor side, Ángel Martín returns to Tudela to present his new monologue, entitled “New material”, on Saturday May 17.
On the other hand, the councilor indicated that next season there will be a contemporary dance proposal from the Navarrese company Led Silhouette, titled “Halley”whose cast includes Nicolás Martínez de Tudela. This show will take place on Saturday February 15.
He also emphasized that “we opted for urban dance, by one of the most important companies at the national level”, “Brodas Bros”, which presents on Saturday April 5 “Doji”. In addition, Wednesday April 30 is celebrated as International Dance Day, with the participation of different schools and groups in the city.
To close the season, in June several organized shows will take place by the dance schools of Tudela. Concretely, on Saturday June 14, the Gimnasio Fitness presents its musical adaptations of “Wizard of Oz” and “Encanto”; and on Sunday June 15, the same gymnasium presents “Bon voyage”.
On Friday June 20, end of year gala of the Ángel Martínez school, and on Saturday June 21, the Arte y Movimiento dance studio will close the season with the musical “The Little Mermaid” and the ballet “Silvia”.
TICKET SALE, PRESCRIPTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
Ticket sales have already started in usual channels: SAC of the Tudela City Hall and online at www.tudelacultura.com and www.tudela.es. For their part, tickets and invitations to proposals corresponding to dance schools can be purchased later.
As on previous occasions, a general subscription has been established in which, for the purchase of 3 shows or more than those indicated in the program, you will get a 15% discount (excluding OSN which has its own subscriptions and discounts, shows with prices of 10 euros or less or shows with special contract conditions).
In addition, the delivery of 2 euros for an advance purchase (until one week before the start of the show) in the shows indicated and the 15% reduction applies to young people under 14 or under 30 holding a youth card, retirees, the unemployed , large families/single parents, and physical or psychological functional diversity (33% or more).
