An anticyclonic situation is expected to continue this Thursday on the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with a predominance of cloudy skies and some intervals of high clouds, although it is only in the west of the peninsula that the approach of A front will cause increased cloudiness at the end of the day.

Likewise, there will be low cloudiness with probable morning mist and fog in the areas of the two plateaus, in the Ebro, in the northeast depressions, in the Balearic Islands and in the southeast of the peninsula, with the probability of being dense in areas. of the northern plateau and the south-east according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Light cloudiness is also expected in the Strait and western Alborán, where light and scattered precipitation is likely.

In the Canary Islands stable weather is expected, with intervals of medium and high clouds, without precipitation and with mist in the eastern islands, although it will be less likely in the rest of the archipelago as well as in the south of the peninsula.

Maximum temperatures will increase, except in the Mediterranean arc and around the Ebro, where no change is expected, with a probability of locally exceeding 30 degrees in the east of the Canary Islands.

The drops in minimum temperatures will predominate in the Mediterranean areas, in the northwest and southeast of the peninsula, but will increase in the rest, more clearly in the Canary Islands and in the southwest, on a day of light frosts in the mountains of the northern half of the peninsula and on the northern plateau.
