Voronezh governor reported several fires due to attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles

Several fires broke out in the territory of Voronezh and outside the city due to downed Ukrainian drones, the region’s governor Alexander Gusev said.

“On Moskovsky Prospekt, a drone fell on a residential complex and a fire broke out. It has already been located. A fire also broke out in a residential building on the left bank of the city. Operational services are in place,” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor noted that several downed unmanned aerial vehicles were burning on the outskirts of the city and beyond.

“According to preliminary data, the roof of a house was damaged.” — he noted, clarifying that, according to preliminary data, there were no victims as a result of the attack.

Head of Voronezh Sergei Petrin reported on his Telegram channel that the restoration of the damaged house will begin in the near future.

“On the instructions of the head of the region, the Voronezh administration is organizing work to restore the damaged elements of the house as soon as possible. Government specialists are already on site. I keep the situation under personal control.” – wrote.

Recall that the danger of an attack with unmanned aerial vehicles in the region was announced on September 28 at 22:00 Moscow time. The Russian Defense Ministry said 17 drones were intercepted and destroyed over the region overnight.
