Lightning struck a residential house in Barda.
APA reports that the incident took place in Dargalar village of the region. Lightning caused severe damage to Tajeddin Valiyev’s five-room house.
The homeowner said he woke up in the morning to the sound of a loud explosion. As a result of the lightning strike, the home’s kitchen was destroyed and all electronic devices in the home were out of service.
The house was inspected by the relevant agencies and the damage was recorded.
Local residents said electronic devices were damaged in several houses in the village as a result of the lightning strikes.
