Roig Arena, new member of the European Arena Association

The Roig Arena, the future multipurpose hall of Valencia which promotes Juan Roigjoined the European Arena Association (EAA). The EAA began its second annual meeting this Wednesday in Manchester (United Kingdom), in the presence of the leaders of a large part of the European arenas that are part of it, including recognized venues such as the O2 (London), the Uber Arena (Berlin), the Accor Arena (Paris) or the MEO Arena (Lisbon).

“We are very grateful and satisfied to be part of the EAA, where the major European venues are located, especially since we have just under a year left before the Roig Arena is operational; It is an honor to be able to participate in a forum where we can collaborate and share experiences and knowledge to collectively improve the industry and the experience of our users”, underlined Víctor Sendra, General Director of Roig Arena.

“I would like to thank the President of the EAA, Olivier Toth“, to the entire board of directors and the rest of the arenas who voted affirmatively so that we could be part of the association”, added Víctor Sendra, who participated this morning in the event taking place in Manchester.

“We are delighted to welcome Roig Arena as a new member of the association. This is the main arena that will open in Europe next year, a very interesting project that I am sure will become a great reference», assured Olivier Toth, president of the EAA, who today also approved the entry as a new member of the Frankfurt Festhalle hall.

During the meeting, which begins this Wednesday and ends on Friday, participants will discover the latest trends in the sector through conferences and presentations, while being able to analyze “in situ” the operation of three Manchester sites: Coop Live , the AO Arena and the Etihad Stadium.

The Roig Arena will host a meeting in 2025

THE European Sand Association will hold two meetings in 2025: one in the spring which will take place in Belfast (Northern Ireland, United Kingdom) and another in the autumn which will host the Roig Arena, by which time the Valencian site will already be fully operational.

The EAA represents 38 arenas from 19 European countrieswhich host programs with notable artists, productions, sporting and corporate events. Over the past year, the association’s member venues collectively hosted more than 3,200 events, attracting an audience of 23.7 million people.

Founded in 1991, the association’s vision is to become the leading authority on arenas in Europe for its members and the industry as a whole. The association aims to be a model of good practice and knowledge exchange in all areas of business, including supporting cultural and environmental well-being, and wishes to build networks, industry alliances and collaborate proactively with regional and national policy makers, as well as European governing bodies, to ensure the sector has a strong voice.
