During a public appearance in Toledo, where he met with the president of the PP of Castilla-La Mancha, Paco Núñez, the regional general secretary, Carolina Agudo, and the party’s provincial presidents, Gamarra accused Page of seeking “big titles”. “, but, “at the moment of truth”, without taking “a step forward” to avoid the “the inequality that Pedro Sánchez wants to establish” with funding for Catalonia.

“Less words and more actions,” Gamarra asked Page, while deeming it “very regrettable” that he went to La Moncloa last Friday to ask Sánchez to prevent the autonomous communities governed by the PP from lower taxes.
According to him, what he did was “pay homage” to Sánchez so that “the purge” that the socialist leader is preparing among regional leaders “does not happen to him”.
Núñez: “Page is getting closer to sanchism”
For his part, the president of the PP of Castilla-La Mancha considers that Sánchez “is moving further and further away from the people” and Page “is moving closer and closer to Sanchismo”.
According to Núñez, there are “two models for doing politics”, with “a party that has as priority Spain and the Spaniards, Castilla-La Mancha and the Castilians-Manchegos, which is the PP of Alberto Núñez Feijóo” , against a party in which “the priority is themselves, just like the PSOE of Sánchez and Page”.
Núñez added that the PSOE, “to stay in power”, granted an amnesty law so that the “independence movement obtains money from all Spaniards” or intends to modify the law on citizen security in collaboration with Bildu.
