The government’s regional incentives for four Extremadura companies will create 124 jobs and maintain 640 more.

The Government, through an Agreement of the Delegated Government Commission for Economic Affairs (CDGAE) and an Order of the Ministry of Finance, approved the granting of regional incentives to four companies in Extremadura for amount of 18.5 million euroswhich will mobilize an investment of 73.2 million and create 124 new jobs and maintain 640 other jobs.

THE beneficiary projects In the region, these are PHI4 Technology SL, in Badajoz, which produces supercapacitors in Badajoz; Rheinmenthall Expal Munitions SAU, in Navalmoral de la Mata, which manufactures weapons and ammunition; Daimdon SL, the Casar de Cáceres water park, and MSG Buildtech SL, in Coria, which is dedicated to the manufacture of modular solutions for construction.

The first of them, PHI4 Technology SLwill receive aid of 6,435,689.86 euros, which will allow a total investment of 22,192,034 euros, and which will create 48 jobs. For his part, the promoter of the water park will receive 9,471,824 euros, for an investment of 39,465,936, which will generate 49 jobs.

In turn, the Navalmoral arms factory receives 1,448,519.22 euros, which mobilizes an investment of 8,047,329 euros, and will generate 10 jobs; while at Coria construction module factory 1,180,446.96 have been granted, which will mobilize 3,577,112 euros and create 17 jobs.

In total, the Government approved the granting of regional incentives to a total of 93 projects in eleven autonomous communities: Aragon, Asturias, Murcia, Castile-La Mancha, Galicia, Canary Islands, Castile and León, Andalusia, Extremadura, Community Valencian. and the Balearic Islands.

He The total amount of grants awarded is 170,542,975.09 euros and will make it possible to mobilize a total investment of 875,939,127 euros, in order to be able to maintain 8,374 jobs in these 93 companies and create 2,050 additional new jobs, underlines the government in a press release.

The Central Executive emphasizes that this aid “contributes to interterritorial economic balance and inclusive and sustainable economic growth by financing productive investment projects that generate jobs, technologically advanced and ecologically sustainable, by promoting economic activity in regions with a low level of development and contributing to closing the gap in terms of per capita income with the rest of the regions, not only in Spain but also in the EU”.
