Michaux Mirandathe former senior Adif official investigated in the Koldo affaircontributed to the National Court a WhatsApp conversation with Isabelle Pardo de Vera to try to prove that it was the former president of the public company who facilitated the contact of Inigo Rotaecheowner of Soluciones de Gestión SL.
This company is considered the epicenter of this legal case, in which the alleged collection of illegal commissions through several contracts awarded to the said company for the supply of masks to the Public Administration.
In a writing to which EL ESPAÑOL had access, Miranda’s lawyer, Jesús Santos, states this What’s newdate March 26, 2020at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Make yourself heardone of the popular accusations made in the Koldo affairhas already asked Judge Ismael Moreno to summon Pardo de Vera to testify as under investigation. He did so shortly after she was questioned as a witness.
The board of directors assured the National Court that the proposal made to Adif to hire Soluciones de Gestión SL came from the sub-management to which Michaux Miranda was assigned.
When he declared himself under investigation, he assured on the contrary that it was the boss of Adif at the time who had sent him the contact.
Today, judicial sources tell EL ESPAÑOL that Pardo de Vera, as he told the judge, transmitted to Michaux Miranda, via WhatsApp, the contacts he had sent to him. Francisco Toledo, president of State Ports. The latter was the first dependent public company —like Adif— of the Ministry of Transport which awarded a contract to Soluciones de Gestión SL.
In the aforementioned writing, appears, as “Document number 4”, a WhatsApp conversation in which Pardo de Vera provides Miranda with two contacts. The first, that of Álvaro Sánchez Manzanares. The second, that of “Hospital Solutions Iñigo DG. Energy” (sic).
Sánchez Manzanares, already fired, was general secretary of Puertos del Estado, the first company to hire Soluciones de Gestión SL. It is studied in Koldo affair.
For his part, the other contact provided by Pardo de Vera to Miranda would be that of Íñigo Rotaeche, administrator of the winning company on which this legal case turns, which pocketed 12.5 million at the start of the pandemic for providing masks to Adif. For supplying Puertos del Estado he charged another 20 million.
When he testified before the National Court, Pardo de Vera admitted that certain “pressures” were indeed exerted on the company that managed it, but with the aim of “accelerating the contract” with Soluciones de Gestión SL .
Likewise, theThe former president of Adif also confirmed before the judge that, as published by EL ESPAÑOL, the presence of Victor de Aldama “on the third floor” of the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport.
According to her statement, she saw him in the hallways of that floor on her way to the office with the owner at the time, Jose Luis Abalos. Businessman Aldama is believed to be the commission agent/middleman of the alleged corruption plot, which bears the name of the man who was the main advisor and confidant of the current former minister, Koldo Garcia Izaguirreconsidered a key figure in the hiring of Soluciones de Gestión SL.
