More than a hundred exhibitors at Ecocultura “twenty years”

More than a hundred exhibitors, mainly from Castile-Leon, Galicia, Andalusia, Madrid, Catalonia, Valencian Community, La Rioja, Aragon, Castile-La Mancha and the Basque Country , are participating this weekend in the twentieth edition of the Spanish-Portuguese exhibition of organic products “Ecocultura 2024”, which is held at the Ifeza exhibition center in the capital Zamora.

“It is an important meeting to promote organic production and the marketing of all those associated with it,” recalled the president of the Provincial Delegation of Zamora, Javier Fáunez. This celebrated the fact that Ecocultura consolidated over these 20 years until it was “the most important event on the national calendar for organic production sectors” and “an incomparable platform” for professionals, producers, distributors and processors who wish to position the fruit of their work “in increasingly demanding and competitive markets”.

The president of the Provincial Council recalled that Castilla y León experienced a Thirteen percent increase in the number of green operatorsexceeding 2,100 and exceeding 113,000 hectares dedicated to the sector. “Zamora occupies second place in terms of the number of organic production operators, with 370, just behind Valladolid, and has recorded a growth of 41 percent,” he emphasized, in statements collected by Ical.
