This magical, labyrinthine little town looks like an Arab souk, but it is only an hour from Valencia.

This town of around 2,000 inhabitants has for years had the distinction of being one of the “the most beautiful cities in Spain”. Villafamés is located in the interior of the province of Castellon. The sanctuary supports are Corinthian pilasters, semicircular arches with gilded appliques and a half-moon vault decorated with Baroque elements.

You can’t miss El Quartijo, the hermitage of San Ramón, the church of La Sangre, the hermitage of San Miguel, the Palace of Batle and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
