Giulia Manfrini was a surfer recognized in Italy, notably thanks to social networks, where she had 20,000 followers. He was in Indonesia, while surfing with friends. After being attacked by the needlefish, he was quickly transferred to the nearest hospital. But it was late and nothing could be done to save his life. He died at age 36.
