A fire in the kitchen hutong restaurantlocated on Lagasca street, in the capital of Madrid, caused this Sunday the expulsion of five residents from an adjacent building and the confinement for a time of the rest of the residents of the block, because a large part of the smoke that was generated there passed.
The fire, widespread throughout the restaurant, broke out shortly before 2 p.m. and caused a lot of smoke, according to Madrid Emergency Services. Six teams went to the site. Madrid Fire Brigade, that they found the premises empty.
This smoke spread through the terraces which house the community facilities of the adjacent building, which is why five residents had to be evicted and the others confined to their homes. The fire is already completely extinguished and firefighters are carrying out work to refresh the property as well as removing light fixtures and false ceilings.

On the other hand, a 62-year-old cyclist was seriously injured this Sunday when he was the victim of an accident on the Tajuña Greenway at kilometer 20, in the municipality of Perales de Tajuña.

The cyclist lost control of his bike and collided with a vertical sign. There are no more vehicles involved, as detailed by Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.
Ground assets from Summa 112 as well as a helicopter arrived on site around 3 p.m., where they found the man missing with head trauma and respiratory distress. Finally, the patient was intubated and transferred to Hospital 12 de Octubre.
