Mañueco reactivates its economic agenda with a mission to Paris and Brussels to attract new investments

The President of the Government of Castile and León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, will lead, between this Monday and next Wednesday, an economic mission to Paris and Brussels where he will hold various strategic meetings whose fundamental objective is to expand the trade balance of the Community, to promote its commercial competitiveness and attract new investments.

This Monday he will travel to the Paris International Food Fair (SIAL), the most important global event in the agri-food sector, where 60 companies participate representing the nine provinces of Castilla y León.

This representation is part of the V Business Internationalization Plan of Castilla y León 2022-2027, promoted by the Institute of Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), which has among its main strategic objectives increase the number of exporting companies in the Community.

Tuesday 22, the head of the regional government will take advantage of his presence in the French capital to concretize a pending meeting with Renault management in Parisat the company’s headquarters in the French capital.

This meeting is part of the traditional collaboration between the Commission and one of the main companies established in Castile and León, both in terms of number of employees and volume of turnover. The objective is to strengthen this relationship and explore new opportunities for cooperation.

The same day, in the afternoon, Fernández Mañueco will travel to Brussels to end the day with a meeting with the community of Castilian and Leonese residents of Belgium.

Finally, on Wednesday 23, in the offices of the Delegation of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce to the European Union, the President of the Board of Directors will hold a meeting with the executive directors and other representatives of Drylock Technologies, VGP and SOFINA, three of the most important companies in Belgium.

The objective is present the opportunities that Castilla y León offers to attract new investments, thanks to its location, its infrastructure, the quality of training centers, institutional stability and the working environment.
