Several batches of La Casera Summer Tinto recalled due to glass fragments

The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), attached to the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030, has requested the withdrawal of several batches of the products “Tinto de Verano Lemon”, “Tinto de Verano Lemon 0.0” and “Tinto de Verano Soda” of the La Casera brand due to the possible presence of glass fragments. If you have these affected products at home, AESAN asks that you do not consume them.

In ‘Rouge d’été au citron’, the affected lots are: 1041024197, with an expiration date of 07/15/2025; 1041024198, with an expiration date of 07/16/2025; 1041024199, with an expiration date of 07/17/2025; 1041024200, with an expiration date of 07/18/2025; 1041124222, with an expiration date of 09/08/2025; 1041124223, with an expiration date of 08/10/2025; and 1041024239, with an expiration date of 08/26/2025.

The affected batches of “Citron Tinto de Verano 0.0” are: 1041024200, with an expiration date of 07/18/2025, and 1041224201, with an expiration date of 07/19/2025. Finally, the affected batches of “soda Tinto de Verano” are: 1041224201 (with an expiration date of 07/19/2025) and 1041324221 (with an expiration date of 08/08/2025).

The company itself reported the incident to the competent authorities, in accordance with the legislation and in order not to make it available to the foods dangerous for the population. AESAN was informed through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI).

According to available information, The initial distribution was made to the autonomous communities Andalusia, Asturias, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Castile-La Mancha, Castile and Leon, the Canary Islands, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, the Basque Country and the Valencian Community, although it is not excluded that there may be redistributions to other autonomous communities.

This information was transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the SCIRI, in order to verify the withdrawal of the products concerned from the marketing channels.
