While the consequences of DANA continue to be very present in the streets of Valencian municipalities hit by the rains, the Spanish government launched this Tuesday a web page to offer updated official data and centralize information.
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced the launch of this new information service during an appearance at the Moncloa complex to detail the first measures of the immediate response planreconstruction and recovery for people affected by DANA, approved this Tuesday in the Council of Ministers.
The new Dana Info section has two sectionsas detailed by the Executive in a press release. In the first of these, up-to-date official data is collected on affected municipalities, confirmed victims, autopsies carried out and people rescued.
It is also available deployment information of the Army, Police and Civil Guard and on the progress made in the recovery of affected transport and infrastructure, as well as on the state of basic supplies.
The second section of this new space is dedicated to the first package of measures of the Immediate Response, Reconstruction and Recovery Plan of 78 municipalities of the Valencian Community, Castile-La Mancha and Andalusia, for an amount of 10.6 billion euros.
There, citizens can find detailed measurements of the first package approved this Tuesday, with which “the aid provided for by law in the event of death, disability, damage to property and housing is quadrupled”, 838 million euros in direct aid is granted to some 95,000 SMEs and independent and temporary incapacity is granted created extraordinary workers and self-employed workers.
In emergency situations like the current one, access to objective and truthful information is more important than ever.
This account will offer official data on the situation generated by DANA and the measures adopted by the Spanish government.

In addition, the Government has created an account (@InfoDanaGob) on the social network X and another on Instagramto offer this official data on the emergency, as well as audiovisual content and information from the ministries, the Crisis Committee for monitoring the effects of DANA or the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (Cecopi).
