At 01:30 local time (08:30 Baku time – ed.), a 10-story apartment hotel collapsed in the Argentine city of Villa-Hesel.

According to preliminary information, at least 7 people were trapped under the rubble.
Rescuers immediately began search and rescue operations. They were able to make contact with several victims who were under the rubble of the building. There was no information about the dead. However, the situation remains extremely tense.
According to local media, there were few guests in the hotel at the time of the collapse. However, neighboring buildings were also damaged.
Interestingly, two months ago the management of Vilya-Khesel asked the owners of the aparthotel to stop renovation work on the building.
