The Bishkek-Moscow passenger train will be inaugurated on December 18. This was reported by the Kyrgyz national company Kyrgyz Temir Zholu (Kyrgyz Railways).
According to the carrier’s information, the train will leave Bishkek on Wednesdays and Saturdays and will arrive at Moscow’s Paveletsky station on Saturdays and Tuesdays. In the opposite direction, on Sundays and Wednesdays. Arrival in Bishkek arrives on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The cost of the tickets will depend on the time of purchase before the train departure, the age of the passenger, the category of the car, the type of registration and the exchange rate:
- for passengers over 10 years old – from 11 thousand soms (approximately comparable to the ruble);
- children from five to ten years old: 5,200 soms;
- Children under five years old enter for free.
A set of bedding is included.
It is clarified that the free transportation of a child under five years of age is allowed without occupying a separate seat per adult passenger.
The weight limit for free carry-on luggage is 36 kilograms. The free weight and size allowance for hand luggage may include a disassembled bicycle without a motor, audio and video equipment.
Free transportation in excess of the established carry-on baggage allowance applies to a folding baby stroller and equipment necessary for the movement of people with disabilities.
