The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, visited one of the towns affected by DANA this Monday morning. The “popular” went to Torrent to inaugurate a new shuttle that connects the city to different jobs. There, it was not well received.
“Mazón resignation”, “Resign now” or “Murderer” These are just some of the cries he received from neighbors who met the Valencian president. Because of the shouting and jeering, the visit lasted only five minutes.
As can be seen in the images above, a neighbor did not hesitate to confront the politician, accusing him of being “an incompetent”. Faced with this, the “popular” tried to exonerate himself by assuring that “a quantity of water was arriving of which we had not been warned before”.
Words which do not convince the indignant neighbor who points out that “from seven thirty, there was the alarm”, while emphasizing that “it took you two hours” while “people were dying.” Then, he once again emphasized his incompetence: “You are incompetent. You have no shame.
Once again, Mazón tried to explain himself to the indignation of those present, recalling that “all the devices were ready” and that “everyone was in their place”. A sentence that came after the neighbor reproached him “she was eating with her friend”, in reference to the journalist to whom he offered to direct the Valencian public television ‘À Punt’.
Before turning around and leaving with his team, he assured that he understood these neighbors. Which did not prevent him from leaving to the cries of “resign now, resign now.”
