This was announced on Wednesday by the second vice president of the Government of Castile-La Mancha, José Manuel Caballero, during a press conference after the meeting held with the various delegates of the Council in the province of Ciudad Real to assess the degree of compliance with the commitments acquired in this territory.
According to Caballero, “all commitments” of the Council of the Province of Ciudad Real for the year 2024, whose budget item amounted to 155 million euros investment“They have been achieved” and, in some cases, “to a greater extent than what we had proposed,” said the vice-president.
A degree of execution that, according to Caballero, is 90% and compliance close to 95%, which led him to guarantee that “the Government of Castile-La Mancha complies with the province of Ciudad Real, regardless of its political color. .
Concerning the actions carried out, the second vice-president mentioned the good pace of work on the new Puertollano hospital; the construction of a new medical center in Alcoba de los MontesManzanares and Tomelloso; as well as the investment of two million euros to improve primary care through technological and material improvements.
In educational matters, he indicated that, in the coming days, the inauguration of the CEIP “Virgen del Monte”, in Bolaños de Calatrava, will take place; the upcoming construction of a new classroom in Carrión de Calatrava, in addition to the construction of gymnasiums in different educational centers in the province.
The reform of the centers for the elderly in Valdepeñas and Alcázar de San Juan or the construction of housing in the Cadig “Guadiana” in Ciudad Real are other actions that Caballero listed in terms of social protection.
Likewise, the second vice president of the Council also referred to the specific case of Ciudad Real Capital, where the Government of Castilla-La Mancha has invested more than 55 million euros to carry out the projects envisaged in the modernization plan “Ciudad Real.” 2025′ and to which the Council was then committed.
“All the projects from the previous legislature are in progress. Some are going faster than others, perhaps late due to problems in the execution of the works, but the projects are underway”, underlined the second vice-president. In this sense, he indicated that the Red Cross Palace, which will house the Comprehensive Care Center for Victims of Sexual Violence in Ciudad Real, will be completed “very soon” and it is hoped that it can become a reality before the end of the year.
For all this, Caballero finally emphasized that “all the projects of the Government of Castile-La Mancha are underway” and that “no mayor, regardless of party, can say that the Council is not fulfilling its commitments.”
