This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping in a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations, TASS reports.
“I attach great importance to the development of Sino-Russian relations and am willing, together with President Putin <>, to constantly expand comprehensive practical cooperation between the two states, jointly promote the high-quality development and modernization of both countries and make new contributions. to the preservation of peace and stability on the planet, to promote the formation of the fateful human community” – says the text.
The Chinese leader noted that he intends to use this anniversary “as an opportunity to firmly set the direction for further development of relations between the two states.” He added that China and Russia are “important neighbors, world powers and leading emerging markets.”
“Over the past 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, both sides have contributed to the constant strengthening and modernization of Sino-Russian relations based on the fundamental interests of the two States and their peoples.” – the congratulatory message also says.
Xi Jinping stressed that Beijing and Moscow have “a constant good-neighborly friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperation, mutually beneficial contacts and win-win interaction.”
