Roskomnadzor sent the administration of the Discord messenger a demand to remove 947 illegal materials. This was reported by the department’s press service.
“Including those containing child pornography, calls for extremism, participation of minors in the commission of illegal acts, calls for suicide, LGBT propaganda*pro-drug content”, – quotes the TASS press service.
RKN stressed that several of these materials have not yet been removed. Discord was fined 6 million rubles for failing to remove images containing child pornography.
“The company does not comply with the requirements of the law. For this reason, the court imposed a fine.” — concluded the department.
In March of this year, Discord was included in the social media registry; These platforms are obliged to identify and block illegal content independently.
