In the same vein, the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation (CHJ) indicates that at present no supply problems for the city of Valencia and its metropolitan area have been detected, as well as the damage caused by flooding in the Júcar-Turia basin. channel.

Likewise, the CHJ confirmed that the Forata reservoir is stabilized and that there are inflows and outflows of 800 m³/s, with a very slow downward trend. He also highlights that the new Turia canal drained without problem two peaks of 2000 m³/s, due to rainfall of between 300 and 400 liters/m² in the middle Turia.

And, for his part, the chief inspector of the Valencia Fire Department, José Miguel Basset, warned against false news circulating on the networks, such as the rupture of a dam or the fact that the municipalities in the area affected must be evacuated. . And requested that unverified information not be shared.
