Veli, born in 1973 in the Khazar district of Baku, injured his wife Sabina (names withheld – ed.) during a dispute arising from a family conflict.
According to Demokrat.az, the incident took place in the Turkmen settlement of the Khazar region. Vali hit his wife Sabina several times on the right arm during an argument between him and his wife. As a result, Sabina was injured.
The parent who committed the incident was charged with article 128 of the Penal Code (intentional harm to health).
Vali, who testified as a defendant in the criminal case, pleaded guilty to the charge announced to him. He said he has two children from a joint marriage with his wife Sabina: “On the day of the incident, around 7 p.m., I drank some alcohol in the house where I live. Sabina, who was at home, argued with my mother. . and I replied. I got angry and punched Sabina on the right arm. I hit her several times on purpose. Although my mother and my son were at home when I hurt my wife, they did not witness the incident because they were in the other. . room.”
According to Sabina, who testified as a victim in the case, her husband Vali drinks alcohol regularly and suffers from drunkenness: “On the day of the incident, around 7:00 p.m., my husband drank some alcohol in the house where we lived. Later “He argued with me while drunk. I answered him. At that time, my husband hit me several times on the right arm.”
The victim stated that he later reported to the “102” service of the Ministry of the Interior about having been beaten and injured: “The police officers took us to the police station. The father deliberately hit me several times with his fist on the right arm at home. “. and I got hurt.”
This criminal case was heard in the Khazar District Court. According to the court verdict, Vali was sentenced to 6 months of restriction of freedom.
Do not leave the house where the accused lives from 23:00 in the evening until 07:00 in the morning, carry an electronic monitoring device and keep it in operation, do not leave the territorial limits of the city of Baku, do not change the place of residence without a court order, the body supervising the execution of the sentence is instructed to inform in advance about the change in the place of work or education.
Supervision of the execution of the sentence was entrusted to the Probation Office of the city of Baku at the place of residence of the accused.
