APA reports that the incident occurred at secondary school number 42 in Nasimi district.
According to preliminary information, one person was injured as a result of the explosion in the boiler room.
TABIB reported that the Republican Center for Urgent and Emergency Medical Assistance received a call from Nasimi district at 10:30.
An emergency medical team was involved in the call. A 27-year-old person (male), who was injured by the emergency medical team, was evacuated to the Burn Center with a diagnosis of 1st degree burns on both arms and back.
The Department of Education of the city of Baku reported that a small explosion occurred while employees of the contracting company were carrying out a preliminary inspection of the boiler room of secondary school number 42 as part of preparations for the autumn-winter season.
The relevant government agencies were immediately informed. The boiler room was inspected by relevant specialists and the necessary safety measures were taken.
