The IDF estimates that Hezbollah has about 30% of its initial supply of drones remaining, despite intense attacks on the militants’ infrastructure.
During the war, the IDF destroyed about 70% of the stockpile of unmanned aerial vehicles, but a significant portion of the drones are still in Hezbollah’s possession and continue to pose a threat to Israeli security.
The IDF managed to intercept around 82% of the drones launched by Hezbollah and other groups. Since the start of the conflict, approximately 1,300 drones have been sent to Israel, of which 231 have crashed, thanks to the effective interception measures of the Israeli army.
To undermine Hezbollah’s combat capabilities, IDF forces attacked numerous facilities associated with weapons production and storage. In recent months, 54 unmanned aerial vehicle warehouses, 24 missile sites, 8 production workshops and 7 weapons arsenals have been attacked.
However, despite efforts to destroy resources and infrastructure, active actions against Hezbollah air force personnel remain limited. To date, only about 10% of the militants involved in launching and controlling drones have been eliminated.
One of the significant achievements of the IDF was the elimination of the commander of unit 127, responsible for launching Hezbollah drones. This, according to the army, weakened the group’s command capabilities and its readiness to carry out massive attacks.
