A girl injured during the last bombing of Gorlovka tried to help a mortally wounded teenager, but the boy could not be saved.
Her mother Tatyana told RIA Novosti about the selfless behavior of the young Gorlovka resident. According to her, after hearing the explosions, she began to call her daughter, who, as it turned out, ran to the entrance with a group of other residents.
“My daughter received shrapnel in the arm. The child received, as I understand it, in the rib. And, apparently, it was a fatal wound that caused his death. He’s still a child, he has one leg. And the guy immediately…when I ran up, my daughter was trying to revive him,” – said the woman.
As clarified by the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) of the republic, an explosion of cluster projectiles occurred in a residential area and submunitions scattered the yards of the Solnechny microdistrict.
Several cassettes exploded near the entrances to apartment buildings, where three teenagers were injured. It is possible that there are still unexploded submunitions in the yards.
As reported EADailyformer head of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated that as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the day of the reunification of Donbass with Russia, a teenager was killed and eight more people were injured, including three children.
