In Saint Petersburg, a sentence was passed for beating the singer of the group Una to death

A St. Petersburg court sentenced Artem Tabachuk to eight years in prison in a maximum security colony for beating Una group singer Anastasia Kotova to death. This was reported by the press service of the city prosecutor’s office on the Telegram channel.

“He was found guilty under section 4 of art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentionally inflicting serious harm to human health, resulting in the death of the victim due to negligence)”, – says the message.

The court determined that on May 15 of this year, the convicted man, while intoxicated, kicked the woman at least 25 times in various parts of the body. He died from his injuries at the scene.

“The Kolpinsky district prosecutor’s claim for compensation for moral damage to the mother of the deceased in the amount of 800 thousand rubles was also satisfied.” – added the press service.

As reported EADailyThe fight occurred on the night after Kotova’s conflict with her drunken 31-year-old boyfriend. He ran towards the girl with his fists. When she lay bloodied, he himself called 112, but he limited himself to crying on the phone and did not answer questions.

The convicted man had already been prosecuted three times for robbery.
