A 36-year-old farmer from the Turkish province of Kayseri wanted to marry a girl he met two months ago. “Propose to me in such a way that I will be surprised,” the girl said.

After considering many options, such as proposing in a hot air balloon or accompanied by an orchestra, the young man finally made up his mind. He bought a ring worth 68,000 pounds (about 3,400 manats) and proposed to the girl among wild horses and torches.
The girl reportedly accepted the offer, saying she was surprised.
But then the young man was surprised by the wishes of the future bride. So, a day before the ceremony of saying “yes”, the girl took her mother and sister and met the groom in a cafe and listed her wedding wishes one by one.
“I’d like to have the key to a new, zero-speed woman’s car in a cup of coffee,” the girl said.
The bride also asked for a ring worth 200,000 liras (about 10,000 manats) before the engagement. She also made some demands before the wedding.
“Before the wedding, they asked me to buy them a house with 3+1 rooms. They also asked me for 30 Burmese bracelets from Adana. These requests amount to 15 million liras (about 750,000 manats). They have thought of everything, right down to decorating the interior of the house. They decorated the house with the most expensive items. They asked me to equip it. They also asked me to buy the latest model of a world-famous phone brand,” the bride told the amazed groom.
The young man also mentioned that the bride’s father also carried out investigations in the area where she lives.
“The bride’s father came to Hacılar Municipality in Kayseri. He obtained a list of houses, land and agricultural fields registered in my name from the municipality’s real estate department. At the same time, he came to our neighborhood and went door to door and collected information about me. It’s as if this was not a girl’s house, but an intelligence agency. And all this after investigations, the girl’s father allowed us to get married. I filed a criminal case against him and the municipal authorities who gave him this information. The future bride put a condition on me to transfer the house and car to her name before the wedding, but she wanted me to be surprised at the end. At that time I rejected her demands saying, “You buy what you indicated, I will come to you,” the gentleman added.
