Schools and institutes in the province of Malaga will return to normal this Friday “provided that there are guarantees of safety for boys, girls and their parents”. This was confirmed this morning by the President of the Government of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, during his visit to the town of Benamargosa, one of the most affected by DANA in the province of Malaga.
He claims to understand the complaints of certain parents who, during these two days without school, did not know who to entrust their children to, but insists on the fact that everything was done to save lives. “Lor we did it precisely to prevent, to protect their children and protect them too,” declared the President of the Council, asking that they be “understandable.”
If all goes well, he said, tomorrow everything will return to normal in all educational centers in the province, provided that there are security guarantees for students, teachers and parents. “We quantify the damage, because access is difficult or simply because some classrooms have been flooded with water. and then you have to clean them and empty them,” he said.
Over the last two days, the suspension of physical activity in the 103 municipalities of the province of Malaga has affected 1,177 educational centers, 333,156 students and 34,180 teaching and non-teaching workersaccording to data provided by the Department of Educational Development and Professional Training of the Government of Andalusia.
