Prohens rated his first year as “intense but full of pride, strength and learning”adding that “if there was one thing we were clear about from the first moment, it was that we did not want bunkers, walls or sectarianism. “We wanted open doors, the street and humility to rectify.”
The leader of the Balearic Islands stressed that above all he wanted “deal with these problems that have remained in a drawer for a long time”so “in one year we put them on the table: saturation, water, the natural environment, public transport, housing, the economy, taxes, education, health… absolutely everything” , he said.
However, Prohens acknowledged that “there is still a lot to do, but we are not going to stop so that we can say that at least things are much better than when we arrived.”
Likewise, the president of the government appreciated his advisors: “They are very good and very good people. There are things that don’t go well the first time. But they care about their teams and believe in what they stand for. I saw them get angry and hurt. But get up too. That’s why they give me so much confidence. “We are a great team”.
